In ten years demand had outgrown the production capability at South Moor and a new factory was opened in Stanley in 1959.
The new factory doubled production and employed two hundred people. With state of the art machinery it was seen as ground breaking in its time.
As well as employing and training local people several people moved up from Witham to bring years of experience and glove making skills to the venture.

Thirty years after Pinkham glove production was moved to the new factory at Stanley the building in South Moor where it had begun was demolished..

When the company ceased production in 1966 the factory was closed and the equipment sold off, finally in 2005 it was demolished
