Dagenham
Opened in 1933 the Dagenham factory manufactured gloves up to the 1960s.
It is the one factory about which little is known today. No records of the factory and the people who worked there have been found.
Down to Margate
Taken outside The Paragon Hotel in Cliftonville Margate in the summer of 1935 here we see some of the team from the Dagenham factory on a day trip to Margate. Seated in the front row is Leslie Pinkham and his wife Elsie in a white dress on his left.
